Pixel Painting gives the teams a sense of the work done “together” and the common result. Not competition, but group collaboration.
The painting, taken from a previously chosen drawing, is first dissected and redrawn in the decisive size… recreating the grainy graphic aspect of the 8 and 16 bit pixels, an icon of the 80s.
Each team has a part to create. When everyone has finished, the paintings are united to form our “picture”. Each team knows that they are painting a picture, only at the end will they see and “discover” that they have painted a part of a single “work of art”.
At the end of the team working activity, everyone takes home their own “pixel”.
